Sounds like she's both protective and jealous. Not sure if you can break her of the 'habit' since it's not really a habit but a reaction. She apparently has bonded mostly with YOU and doesn't want any intruders in her way. Maybe before your husband kisses you pick her up, give her a treat and kisses also and if she doesn't snap...do it again. Eventually she'll learn that when your husband kisses you..it's a good thing for her also. As for the Husky..you can do the same thing and see if it works. Otherwise....I'm a cat and really can't get into a dogs head too well. We never snap...we just get even! ;-)

he's in all possibility gettting arthritis and does not like being messed with whilst her hurts. attempt giving him a million/80 one mg toddler asprin in line with 10 pounds so approximately 7 for a husky two times an afternoon and notice if this facilitates. additionally shop do no longer toddler him whilst he acts out to different canines scold him and tell him no and then tell him he's a good boy whilst he stops. good success

She is definitely a jealous little shitt and brave to snap at a Husky! Do you ever watch "Dog Whisperer"? It is a very good program on training and controlling dogs.

Sounds like a godsawful dominance issue to me. Grab her, flip her onto her back and snarl at her while holding her neck gently (don't HURT her, obviously). Or have whomever is being snarled/growled at do it. When it's happening with the SH she's trying to drive him off, controlling -both- of you at the same time.
So unless you enjoy being a chihuahua's pet...

first do it to some kind of toy ( you dont actually have to kiss it) and get ther used to the idea that your not gonna stop on her sake then try it on a living thing when she snaps , slap her nose lightly and try petting your dog again and repeat the process.

she is protecting you. tell her NO! when she does that. and if that doesnt work then take your 2 fingers and tuch her on her neck when she is doing it. it wont hurt her and it will let her know you are in charge. watch the dog whispror. he is the best!!!
