No. The hen will lay an egg a day with or without the rooster around. The job of the rooster is to "fertilize" the egg.

No, the eggs are already created in the chicken, just as a human female is born with all of the eggs/ova she will ever produce in her lifetime. The only thing the rooster does is fertilize the eggs.
When a rooster mates with a hen, the semen is stored in the oviduct for later use. When she gets ready to lay the egg,a sperm fertilizes the egg before the shell surrounds it. The sperm is viable for about a month in the oviduct. (http://gworrell.freeyellow.com/chickenfaq.html)

No, as in all nesters as the chicken is, the eggs will come, approximately one every 24 to 32 hours once the hen is mature. Now, if a rooster mates with her, you will have fertile eggs.
She will try to incubate any eggs she lays whether she has mated or not.

actually the rooster mates with the hen to create a fertilized egg inside the hen, which is then laid and that will hopefully become the chicken.... a hen will lay unfertilized eggs like the ones you eat without any rooster around. pretty much the same way women ovulate without men, until they fall pregnant (which you need a man for) :-).

The hens will lay eggs even when there's no rooster around. The rooster only fertilizes the hen to lay productive eggs.

No. The adult hen will lay eggs regardless of whether a rooster is around. The only reason to have a rooster is if you want the eggs fertilized for hatching.

Hens can produce eggs whether or not they've mated. If she has not mated, the eggs are not viable (meaning they won't produce a chick).
