low on anti freeze or to much anti freeze will cut your heat down. If your getting nothing at all you have a blockage. My jeep puts out so much heat it will fry an egg

1 bad thermostat
2 plugged heater core. how often do you flush and refill your cooling system. if it has been years it is probably time to clean the system and change the thermostat too.
3 some vehicles have shut offs built in to the system to keep the coolant from flowing through the heater when the AC is on (i'm not sure if the jeep has it) but it could be stuck

Get a quote from a dealer, most will not charge for a diagnostic work. This is because if they get the work, they will make their money back that way. May be a fuse, may be a thermostat, may be water pump 9 costly ) may be a heater matrix ( really costly ) but, it may only be cheap. Specialists will charge less per hour, but may take longer to fix it, so main dealers are not always much more expensive.

if its an old jeep, its not worth fixing unless your using it for off-road stuff. but it its newer take it to your dealer and if its still under the warranty have them fix it.
