Have just opened my second bottle of Libertad Merlot 2005....yum yum........I have, for the last 2 years, been buying this in a restaurant for 26 quid a bottle. After my fave wine's stocks were depleted I searched the Internet for this one and found it for 4.62 sterling a bottle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ordered 48 bottles before Xmas so have lots and lots and lots. I love my red wine and drink it more than anything else. I have some really fab wines (7 cases) stored in the cellars of Berry Brothers London...all bought En Premier, really special stuff that my husband and I have bought each other over the years as anniversary pressies. Our dream is to leave our place (at the moment in Wapping London overlooking Tower Bridge...which is tooooo convenient for his work) and get a fab Gothic place in the country with a huge wine cellar and have it all delivered (by that time.....more than 7 cases hopefully) and then drink ourselves to death! What a way to go eh? BUT.........as much as I love the classic, fab wines....this Libertad is a beaut....and so cheap. Go to www.bibendum-wine.co.uk, it is worth trying ( I understand everyone has different tastes) they sell it by a 6 bottle case.............that way, like me, you will have plenty of stock and not have to worry about venturing out into this freaky British weather the next time.
