The Bible is up for interpretation, using many metaphors…
Jesus said… “I am … the bright and morning star.” —Revelation 22:16
i.e, “I am Lucifer”
In his own words, though most did not know that the Morning Star is the planet Venus that stands for Lucifer a Latin word meaning "light-bearer" (from lux, "light", and ferre, "to bear, bring")
Jesus said, "Perhaps people think that I have come to cast peace upon the world. They do not know that I have come to cast conflicts upon the earth: fire, sword, war.”
Anyone with two ears had better listen…
They did not listen, they did not know how… Perhaps they’ll listen now.

If He was wrong about anything, then you really cannot trust anything else He taught. But He is not wrong about the Second Coming, He promised He would come, but He never said when.

Hello,, The second coming is Jesus coming back to recieve those who have submitted there lives unto him here on earth. Yes, we can believe everything that he has promised. He has not come back yet, because it is not time..No one knows the hour or the time..The bible teaches us not even the angels or Jesus himself..Only God Almighty is going to decide the time..The time is when the entire earth has received the opportunity to receive the WORD.
The word = The message of Jesus Christ..

How do you know he isn't coming thousands of years from now, or that he hasn't already showd up but nobody believed. Following the teachings of Jesus isn't a bad thing to do, its certainly better than most of the alternatives.

What makes you think He was wrong just because it hasn't happened yet? He came the first time right on schedule, just because the Jews didn't know who He was and what His mission was doesn't mean that He won't come again just like He promised.

This idea is a misunderstanding of scripture.
Jesus has no intention of returning as a living human. He already did that.
This time Jesus is returning in the hearts of those who have accepted his message and try to live their lives to emulate his teachings. Few actually do this. It requires a radically different interpretation of love from the one understood by most so-called believers. Most people see love as something that you keep in reserve only for those you have judged worthy of it.
This is not love at all. This is only judgment. Judgment is the exact opposite of what Jesus was teaching. Remember judge not lest ye be judged. Jesus asks us to love our neighbor. Notice that there is no accept for in this statement. Every one is intended to be included in this love Jesus ask us to have for our fellow man. This type of universal application of love requires no judgment on our part because Jesus’' intent was that no one be left out of it.
This is a difficult pill to swallow for any religion that thinks of it's self as being the one true and only correct way to God. This idea of exclusivity is the exact opposite of the message of inclusively that Jesus gave us.
Attaining the goals that Jesus set for us may be difficult within the constraints most religions impose. This is why many who seriously try to emulate the true teachings of Jesus in their lives do not ascribe to any particular religious following. They follow the truth in their hearts where Jesus has taken up residence.
Love and blessings.

He did not say what day and time so how can you say he lied? He just hasn't come yet. Just wait he will. It is your life & believe and you can live it the way you want. Since you do not believe then you can be surprized as so many will be who do not believe

Jesus meant that the second coming is not an apocalyptic even, it is merely a personal revelation.
