Most ginger-ales don't have much ginger in them, which is what helps the stomach ache. Try making ginger tea, or eat a little candied ginger, you can get it at whole foods.....

lots of things treat an upset stomach. it's the ginger in the ginger ale that is supposed to work.

ginger ale is best. you can also try coke or pepsi. the carbonation helps. also, eat some saltines or dry toast and take a spoonful of pepto bismol. sometimes ginger ale on its own will do the trick, though.
