Neither will act on it. But guy plays along, looks at her, tries to talk to her, etc. Just trying to understand a guy, what is he thinking in playing along?

He is out of line. First off, he would not appreciate his wife flirting with someone else, so why is he doing it? He's feeding his ego with this girl's admiration. It's not fair to the girl or his wife. He's not a total low life, but he should examine why he needs this attention so badly.

This is probably my favorite question in a while, so my answer may be a bit long. Beware. YES. I love shy men more than any other kind. They are generally more thoughtful, kind, mysterious, deep, complex, and intellectual than other guys I've been around. Not that I don't love loud people; I just find shy guys amazing. It's okay to be a little introverted, but I'm honestly puzzled by your dating situation. You seem like an interesting, well-rounded person. And you're really good looking. Instead of losing your shyness, try to talk to girls on a "friendship level" before expressing interest. This may make it a bit easier for you get to know girls. PS: If I knew you in real life, I would definately give you my number if asked, regardless if I had a boyfriend or not. Hope this helped!

Well if the guy is flirty just a little I would say it is ok. If the guy is more like hitting on her but she is to shy to do it back then I say very bad. He I was that guy I would nessacarily keep is from my wife, cause is she does happen to find out and she thinks that the guy kept it from her even though he didn't try to things could end up with a divorce. I just have to say hope that guy is careful.

There is no thought here, just poor behavior. Bad man. Poor husband. Period. , any married person who flirts is looking for the right opportunity to cheat, it's only a matter of time. It is not a question of IF, it is a matter of when. Women should avoid this kind of man's attentions, because it will eventually hurt another woman (his wife) and possibly his children. He may have no regard for her/ their feelings, but that doesn't mean the women he flirts with have to be as callous, cold and unfeeling as he clearly is.

In my experience, the guy and the coworker will eventual act on it with regret. It will start with, "My wife doesn"t understand me...." And it will end with a strained marriage, a drained pocket book and a fatal attraction psycho coworker.

You can only play with fire for so long before you get burned. So I take it you're the fatal attraction psycho in this scenario? You'll get very hurt too.

Most people like to feel desired, even if they are in a relationship. Harmless flirting is just that. Perhaps this guy just likes the attention and doesn't want to discourage it...but has no intention of following up on it.

Guys live for sexual tension. Especially in the work place. Its a game, and its fun. But it doesnt take anything at all to cross the line into an affair.

Watch yourself and stay right.

Because men have big ego's. Even though he may be married and love his wife, he still wants to feel like he's got it. There is no harm in flirting and making yourself feel wanted. Everyone wants that. However if you cross the line, the bed you made, you have to lay in.

He's a man, and that's pretty normal. But it's unprofessional, VERY disrespectful to his wife, and you can't guarantee neither will act on it (if they haven't already). It should not continue, but if you're just an onlooker it's not really your place to intervene.
