I have a question for Jehova's Witnesses

1. Why are you always approaching people?
2. When you approach people, why do you try to HIDE who you are?
A. With lines such as "have you heard of the red sea?"
B. "Do you believe in God?"
C. "Can I ask you about Jesus?"
And so on...
When the ONLY reason you are approaching people, is to get people to join your "church."
You people knock at my front door, every weekend. You people send your children, dressed in suits, in 90 degree heat, while you wait in an airconditioned car, to me in a city park. You people stand in front of gas stations, approach me in the mall, at Dunkin Donuts, and so-on, and so-on. Never have I, or anyone else, asked you to approach us, with your literature, Watchtower tucked inside somewhere, only to talk about your so-called "church."

WE do not approach YOU! We do not want to be approached. To approach us means DANGER. We do not know who you are, what you want.

What is your problem? Do you NOT understand GO AWAY??

when I go to someone's house that Jesus Christ commanded us to do at Matthew 28 verse 19 and 20. I tell the person my name and say that I am a Jehovah Witness. Jesus did the same thing. where ever he seen people and we do the samethings, where ever we see people. if you are not interested we say have a nice day and we leave. you don't have to be rude, we have feelings just like you. I guess you would not listen to Jesus either. also it is a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses all around the world in 235 lands, it is not a church. everyone is invite to come and see what we are about. see our website at www.watchtower.org

They approach people because Jesus Christ ORDERED Christians to "go out and preach the good news of his incoming Kingdom."

They don't try to hide who they are, as soon as they open their mouths, they say the name Jehovah and that kind of gives it away, doesn't it? Who else USES Gods true name?

The reason they ask about "other" things is so you'll have a comparison about which their talking about. And they don't have a "church" they have Kingdom Halls.

Wow, sounds like they really are persistant, and that means they must have something that they really need to share! NO, I am not a witness, but I admire anyone who "performs deeds" without the hope of physical rewards NOW. So many ministers and people are in the NOW hoping for rewards NOW that its refreshing to see the opposite.

You go on and on about these people, but you never recognize their strengths.

Witnesses feel comissioned to go out and spread the gospel. They do not do it in hate. They do it because they feel it is their duty. They send their kids when the kids are old enough to understand because that is how they teach them. If you do not want them to come to your home simply get a do not solicit sign from your local ordinance office and they will leave you alone. With so many terrible things going on in the world...why do so many people like yourself feel apt to attck those who are trying to do good as they believ it to be? Don't you see that this is the spirit of the antichrist? We have wars, murders, theft, sex crimes, drugs, hate crimes etc etc why not try to change the evils of this world instead of attcking those who want to spread love in their own way?

Kind of like Jesus, he approached people and talked about his God and they got mad at him and killed him.

False religion never preaches door to door like the apostles did.

Wow. I am not a Jehovas Witness....but that is a lot of pent up hate and anger there.

The people have a duty to witness...all you have to is politely send them away...just like I do.

i'd like to know this too. when you tell them you have your own church it's still not enough for them. i think adults who use kids to sell their own agenda really suck.
