No, far from it, haha.

I seriously doubt few people have that much patience anymore, with the fast pace of our society and such, the "gotta go, do this, do that" idealogy. I can think of a few older people I know who are VERY patient and even share some of the hardships of Job (i.e. loss of family, loss of home), but that's a rare exception anymore.

It's sad really, watching all humanity go down the tubes. Although, I suppose it's expected since the Bible does state that the Earth will have an end, essentially at the point when God's had enough of our crap, haha.

No I don't, do you. If not we should both have more patience in dealing with everyday life, I try to study and read my bible every day but sometimes I still fail to pray for guideance in my every day life.

Most definitely not, but I wish I did! I love the Book of Job, it is the book that everyone who is suffering should read along with Jesus's sermon on the mount.

I don't think that Job was patient...he questioned why, in fact he even asked to be hidden in sheol/hades the grave. What he had was faith. He knew and believed in God even though he was suffering and questioning.

God gives some of us no choice. The book of Job is one well worn from reading in my bible. I'm not even a Christian though, I find it inspirational.
