Looks like the process of life, but I don't think that it reflects on the meaning.
In the words of Ferris Bueller, "Life goes fast. If you don't slow down and take it in, you might miss it..."

Looked to me as if the only time the guy was happy was when he was dead.
Sounds more like the meaning of death then life.
