Its mainly in my eyes, and lasts a long time. I only get them when I sleep later than usual.

I have the same exact problem. I know there are people out there that if they don't go to bed and get up at the same time everyday, they have horrible headaches. Thankfully, that's not me. But I am sensitive to longer sleep times and get headaches...

My theory is that it is dehydration. During the work week, I never have a problem with headaches. On Saturday and Sunday, I do. But I've started drinking a quick glass of water when I get up every weekend morning and the problem seems to have gone away.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

I get headahces when I sleep too long, too. I read the other day that a lack of sleep OR too much sleep can trigger a migraine.
