My ex and I broke up about 8 months ago, and havent talked since. We dated almost 5 years and all he said when he was breaking up with me (having his friend break up with me) is that "he wasnt happy with me." But we dated for so long and we were talking about moving in together and (i thought) we loved eachother so much, why hasnt he called or contacted me yet? Why doesnt he regret leaving me? Why doesnt he care?

Obviously, he didn't share the same degree of love that you felt for him. He has no doubt moved on, which is precisely what you need to do. He hasn't called because he's not interested any longer. I know that sounds cold, but I don't mean it that way....just matter of factly!

He doesn't care because maybe he never cared. Maybe you wanted more and he wasn't ready. The fact that he had his friend break up for him is clue that he's a wimp. He has no back bone. Is that the type of man you want in your life? He can't stand up for himself, how is going to stand up for you? You should be happy your not with him, why do you care about him calling? Do you feel like he completed you? Cause if you do, then you need some work yourself. If a man loves you then he will do anything to let you know, and if there is a problem he will tell you, not have someone else tell you. That's not being a man. so that being said, let the boy go, and move on and find a real man, and thank god that he's gone so someone better can step in his place.

I completely understand. I once went through this with a guy I thought was "the one".

You are looking for some kind of closure and in your heart, this relationship has not closed the final chapter. You have questions that are valid and you are now facing the possibility that they might never get answered. That is a tough place to be.

Men handle emotions differently than we do. We feel things and that affects every area of our lives. Men can shut it off and go watch a football game with the guys. Neither you or I can ever guess how much he regrets things or if he cares. I suspect that after 5 years together he certainly DOES care, but he is doing what is best for him. He might think that contacting you would not be good for either of you. It's all a guess.

Don't call him. I think his reaction would break your heart. Accept that he is not 'the one" and focus on moving forward. Someone else will be coming into your life who will never dream of leaving you.

God bless.

Did u ever fight or argue alot? Did you keep secrets or lie? Did he do the same? People often hide their true self from friends and acquaintances, even those that are close. It takes someone very special to each individual to truley let it all go and give everything, as in themselves, to another person.
have you tried reaching him, and if so what happens when you do? It's been eight months you said and believe me I know it can hurt and feel like it'll never end, but if you want to be happy with yourself, it's probably time you move on.

If it bothering you so much contact him and ask him why he broke up with you. Tell him that you no longer want a relationship with him but you deserve to hear the reason for the break up from him not from his friends. After he tells you or if he refuses to contact you leave him be. He made it quite clear when he broke up with you that he didn't have time for you, don't waste your time on him.

Maybe he got scared of a bigger commitment. If you guys broke up about 8 months ago, and he has not called you or anything else, just forget about him, he is not worth you waiting for him to make a move.

call her, say something like my telephone wasn't plugged in for a lengthy time period, so i idea i'd have missed your call how are you? Then take it from there. (Use the cell telephone as your plugged in telephone) Hoping you've one. If not, say you've been away and issues were given busy, yet you idea you should do the gentleman component and make contact with her. strong success

Doesn't love suck!?! Guys can be real *******. Are you going mad with some anger and sadness? Let it go. You'll be breaking your heart ( again) wondering who, what, where why? about this guy. If you really want to keep in contact, your going to have to step up and call him, if not just let things go. It hurts, but you have to move on.

Because he is dating someone else, probably was for the last year of your relationship.

No, he doesn't care. No, he doesn't regret leaving. Sounds like a loser for having his friend break-up with you. That's pretty junior high school.
