tell your parents that there are no castes in heaven and god created us all and loves us all. if we had no parents, god would always approve of marriage between people who truly love each other. castes were originally created to separate various working classes--it's a social tool and has no business in love. tell them that you know this from an old guy (i'm 59) from america who is married to an indian woman for many many years and castes never got in the way.

Just talk to your parents, that once you marry me with other boy, you will be not happy & even same boy will be not.
So better understand let me marry my choice of boy.
Nowadays caste is not a big issue, but the guy you love must have good finiancial background & his aim & abilitity to keep you happy.
Because in age of 22, this age is very much kids, so be carefull before you take you decission.

first of all your age is not for love or marriage.convince yourself and your friend about that and concentrate on your careers, after u settle down in good jobs then think about the marriage.by that time your parents also will give value for your opinion.

Well at tiimes it happens that people feel that their parents won't agree but actually they might. Just talk to them directlty , who knows after that you start up with your wedding prep.
