IS there anything special we could do to serve GOD as one year enters into the next?

What would be pleasing to GOD for us to be doing tonight as the year 2007 A. D. comes into existence?

you do realize that our dates were simple made up right? The year could change on March 12th and there would not be one single difference. New Year's is a COMPLETELY made up holiday.

So then perfection(Heb 6) = mercy-full (Jam 3).
God in "heaven", is not God on "high" in "heavens".
God in "heaven" is notably "higher than the heavens".
Which is to allegory say Grace is higher than Law Law.
(why ppl recovering from law law speak of a "higher" power)
Which is to allegory say Charity is higher than 2 Love Laws.
As Charity "never" faileth is also above forgiving one another.

I try to live each day in a way that I hope is pleasing to God. I'm in no ways perfect and never will be, but I strive to be the best I can be for him. 2007 can be as good as we make it. Happy New Year to you and GO WITH GOD ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!

If you pray before graven things, or images, is that going to please God?)

Should there be application to dead persons in behalf of living persons?”

Jas. 1:6, 7: “Let him keep on asking in faith, not doubting at all, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and blown about. In fact, let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from Jehovah.”

Well, persevere in prayer, preach the gospel to others, eat Christ, enjoy His Word, enjoy Christ with other saints, etc. There are many things to serve God.

I think we should all blow up an abortion clinic or maybe take some evolution professor hostage. Maybe it would be better to have a prayer vigil at the home of a known gay couple? It all sounds like fun to me!
