I was street racing(don't critique me on that) and I was racing my b/f's friend. He lost and got all pissed off. He hit me and so I was ready to fight back when my b/f pulled me aside and told my friend to calm me down. He said something to his friend and told me he wouldn't let me hit his friend. He said he was not trying to side with his now ex-friend. Was I wrong to be mad that he wouldn't let me handle it on my own?? I may be girly at times but I can handle my self. Does it mean he cares??(He is no longer friends with the guy)
Should I feel bad their friendship is over??

You should be happy their friendship is over, and ... well, if it was me, I'd leave your man for not defending you when you were hit by his friend. That's treating you like chattel.
