its a 5 yr course after ur 12th or a 3yr course after ur graduation. and then u work under a lawyer.. after u get enough experience and contacts, u can practice on ur own

It is another thing to be a lawyer, and entirely another to just get a degree. You can get a degree in three years, but when you beocme a lawyer, and what sort of a lawyer you become, depends on a number of factors.

Actually in total 19...no kidding
first high school wich takes between 12 & 13 years to complete
Then you need to get your bachelor wich are 4 years
And then you got to law school and take you 3 more years....Is a long way but at the end it worth it.

It takes 23 years of your life, 5 years after 12th and 3years after graduation. Now it depends how you calculate.

4 Years to obtain a Law Degree + Internship as an Junior and thereafter you registered in a Bar council as a member.
