This guy that I've been seeing for just a short time was bartedning on Thursday night. My friend and I decided to drink at her house prior to going to the bar. Bad mistake....we were drinking vodka which does NOT do well for me. We got to the bar and he was talking to the other bartender who is a girl. If I was sober this would not have bothered me but since I was wasted on vodka I flew off the handle and totally made an *** out of myself and him. I called the girl a slut, was telling him to **** off, etc. Please help...he will not even talk to me. I know being drunk isn't an excuse but I would not have done that if I was the least bit sober. What should I do, I am so embarassed and I want him back!

Dave S...sorry I don't agree with you. I've seen plenty of people do a lot of stupid things that they would NEVER do if they were sober.....

I think your bf and co worker will both get over it, at least he knows you love him...if you didn't have feeling for him, you would've got jealous..head up

The sad truth is that what you do when you are drunk is how you generally think when you are sober, and bartenders know this. You basically showed him what's behind Door #2. Since the other girl was his coworker and not some hoochie mama who was hitting on him, it makes your behavior incredibly uncalled for and obnoxious. The best you can do is apologize in person and ask if you can start over but I wouldnt' hold my breath. I'm sure his coworkers have been busy telling him he's better off without "that drunk beeoytch" though so he's probably washed his hands of you for good.

In the future, try not to drink to the point of stupidity, since you have already proven to yourself that you are not a fun, happy drunk.

Well that definitely was not the best move you have ever made. This may or may help the relationship, but first be sober and apologize to him and for your insecurities and let him know that you would like to apologize to the woman that you cussed out. It may have costed you a relationship, but you would be the only one to blame for that. If you were going to drink with your friend, then you should never have gone to the bar and make a scene, because he may look at it as those are your real self. A man does not want to see her girlfriend all drunk-ed up and cussing and making a fool out of herself especially where he works.
Good Luck!

Chalk that one up to a lesson learned. Stay out of the booze, and you won't deal with that sort of embarrassment again.

Try a nice letter, you can deliver it to him by hand, or mail it; tell him how sorry you are. A nice touch would be to apologize to the girl, too, in front of him. Or in writing, either way. Doing both leaves you looking like a class act who made a single mistake.

If he will forgive you and try again, great. If not, you've learned a painful lesson. Make sure it was worth it by not doing that again.

stay away for a while, if not permanently, and give him time to get over it. Perhaps you have had other guys cheat on you and so suspected him to be doing that as well but as long as that is in your thoughts at all , you should not be in a relationship with a bar tender who often has to flirt a bit for tips he gets from the girls. I suspect that you have some suspician even before that and it came out when you were drinking.

Yeah, you blew it. You should go and formaly apologize to him, the girl and the owner of that club. You shouldn't use drinks as an excuse, because no matter how drunk you are, there is still some truth to whatever you say. You let you're jealousy and insecurties out that you've been hiding (due to a lack of inhibitions..)

move on..and dont do that again...

there is nothing you can do. I am pro drinker and so are just about all of my friends. Sense this guy is a bartender he knows the rules about drinking. When you drink, the second you comes out. So the bartender know that you are a crazy jealous person, you just hold it back all or most of the time. I would have to say, just cut your loses and move on.

Sorry

Sorry bout you luck, but sounds like you are screwed.
Drunk only lets out the inner demons, so he knows if you got serious, he would take crap all the time for talking to women while he DOES HIS JOB. I used to be a bartender, as I swear, I think I know you; I may have dated you, you sound familiar.

We texted him day after on the instant apologising for our behaviour and he admitted that he became scared, yet in addition got here across it hilarious, and became thinking approximately accepting the furnish of him coming over. I felt undesirable then because of the fact I also have a boyfriend.
