Is there a way to make a new installation disk after I have all the update installed, so I can just install windows with the new updates? Thank You.

It's always best to do updates after installing any windows system. take a look at this website, about 3/4 of the way to the bottom, it does tell you how to make an installation CD. You can also go to www.google.com and search for how to make one.

I had to purchase a set of disks for my computer with all of the updates included...

Check with the manufacturer to see if that option is available to you...

I think the only reason mine were available was because they were going to start dropping support soon.

Other than that, I think you will have to do all of the updates each time you rebuild your Hard drive.

Edit: I JUST bought a new computer and on startup it had 54 updates to do... and I think those were JUST the critical ones!!!
