Those who dwell...among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life. . . Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts. The more clearly we can focus our attention on
the wonders and realities of the universe about us, the less taste we shall have for destruction.
Rachel Carson

Does this sound like you?

That is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Nature is my home, my church, my strength, my peace, my connection, my teacher, my friend.. she means so much to me.

Ms. Carson is very eloquent, indeed.

Many blessings to you on your path..

Wow that actually sounds exactly like me... I always say that it is impossible to be alone or sad when you love all of nature and I get all my happiness and contentment from the beauty of the world around me. That is one of the reasons why I cant understand how people get depressed all the time and have to take pills etc, I get all the healing and spiritual comfort I could ever want from a tiny flower, a sunset, a singing bird or the shining moon.

It sounds very pretty, but to answer your question, no. My spiritual home is within---not without. Sometimes I find inspiration and guidance from without though.
