Omnipotent:-
–adjective
1.almighty or infinite in power, as God.
2.having very great or unlimited authority or power.
I suppose because in order to create a perfect heaven and earth is takes 6 days. He was also setting up a basis of time. One event for each day, each day having its own purpose. And setting the example by resting on the seventh.
Wouldnt you take your time and enjoy the process if you had all eternity to do things?
Time is relative to the creation, not the creator. We're bound by its limits, he set those limits, not us. If it took him 6 days it means nothing to anyone but us. We judge time based on how we know it as humans on earth. Its like trying to get someone else to see your imagination. They can only have the idea of your thought by how their minds are designed to imagine things.
Time is relative, and really doesnt measure anything more than the existance of humans and earth.

All praise is due to Allah and peace and blessings be upon the beloved Prophet Muhammad. This is something that is definitely unlogical. Allah does not rest nor has any need to rest. In Islam we believe He created the Heavens and Earth WITHOUT rest. Allah does not need to take a coffe break, when this is being said they are limiting His omnipotence. Allah knows best.

So if the bible said he wiggled his nose and the whole universe just appeared, that would have sounded better? gimme a break! He created with his hands, he labored just as a man labors. We are a reflection of him. Hes a God that works and rests. Just like hes a God that punishes and rewards.

I suppose the scribes and wise men had to construct a framework that your average uneducated and gullible Israelite could comprehend so they came up with the creation myth. I say came up with it-actually they plagiarised it from the epic of Gilgamesh.

like, He should hurry because YOU think so?
God had a perfect plan and executed it
perfectly and is still executing it today!
sorry little 'ol human you doesn't think so.
there is NO "if" to it.....
God is omnipotent!
you will see for yourself when you
stand before Him someday.....
and, at that time, you will not think
it is very important whether God took three, five, or six days to create Heaven and Earth.....
and Hell.

because he made the days as we know it... light and dark....
i dont think it was that God was tired... i think he stepped back and admired His creation... just as an artist does a piece of art.
Faster- God is outside of time... there is no fast or slow to Him... only to us.
