Those that crave it, deserve to have it.

Yes, God hears us, no, we probably do not deserve it. The good news is, he offers it, in an individual basis all for just believing and asking for it. He has given peace in the lives of many, that normally would look like they have no way to have peace. He is awesome like that. Most just scoff at the idea of God and his love and peace. Its their choice and they are choosing.

God does hear us. He does try to help us. However, we must all work together to achieve world peace. We must choose not to fight wars. We must choose not to bomb Economies. We must choose not to bomb in places where the general public lives. We need to think about how we effect the lives of our children. We should never let any child suffer in any way. It is wrong to let children starve to death. It is wrong to let the children suffer from the violence of wars. Why are our Governments allowing young children to be shot, bombed, etc.? The Government leaders should be held accountable for allowing these things to happen. They should have to pay each family money for the losses (inconveniences, loss of income, etc.) they endure during wars. No Government has the right to bomb innocent civilians under any circumstances. Don't you think that the Government Leaders should have to choose to fight wars outside of the Cities? Don't you think it is wrong that some Governments force families to relocate to an area where they will suffer from severe poverty. In these cases, those Governments should have to compensate each family for their losses and inconveniences.

Prayer should be relentless (re: Jesus' parable in Luke 18:1-8 of the widow who petitioned the wicked judge). But we must first know Him personally for Him to hear us.

Only God's grace brings peace. Traditionally, grace is defined as 'undeserved merit'. As sinners, we don't deserve anything. Not money, not happiness, not a 'good life'. All these we possess only due to God's unmerited favor because He is good.

A similar situation as ours today is found in Jeremiah 18. Israel had turned away from God and worshipped as they saw fit. Similar to modern culture, they made their own plans, forging their 'own way' of worshipping and following God. This was evil in God's sight (they rebelled against Him). He warned them that because they had sinned He would punish them for doing wrong. Verse 8, God says 'and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned.'

Instead of turning back to God to avoid His judgment, God told Jeremiah that the people of Israel would lose hope and continue to 'follow the stubbornness of his evil heart.'

In summary: Don't lose hope that God hears. He reserves every right to wreak havoc on the world for its sinful behavior. But because He is good, He hasn't yet. As for world peace, we would need to turn from our own ways and turn to God to find true peace.

Does God deserve having to hear the same tedious prayers said by a billion people each day?

"Dear Lord: please stop wars. Amen"
"Oh God, please grant me a child this fall. Amen"
"Almighty father. Grant us thine care and stewardship. Amen"

blah blah blah blah blah....

It must be a curse to be omnipresent.
