Obviously if you haven't seen him in years, you don't have a problem as it has already been solved. You can disown him as far as inheritance goes.
Why would you want to disown one you adopted? Why did you adopt a child if you weren't in it for the longhaul? We don't always agree with our children's choices in life, but you can have differences and care at the same time.
If the child is an adult you can't undo the adoption. If the child is a minor, you can try to send the child back but prepared for charges of abandonment or recklessly endangering the welfare of a child.
Sad that you don't love enough, to accept one as they are. I once told my children whom had no contact with their father for years that they need to learn to accept him as he is and not as they expect him to be. The same applies to you, accept your child for the way they are, not what you expect him to be and hope and pray things turn out right.

No you can't and why would you want to??? The boys by now has ties to some other family. Why would you want to remove him from a family that took the time to adopt him. You are only thinking of yourself. Think of him for a change.

why would anyone choose to do this? The poor 'son'. I would hate to have you people as my family. Just shows how some people's standards really are.
