He TOLD YOU HE WAS THE WRONG GUY FOR YOU-
thank HIM WHILE YOU RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION

Find things to do that keep you busy. That's a good start. It
sounds like he's never asked you out, and was probably leading you on. Four months of flirting? He's probably a creep. There
is probably a nicer guy waiting for you. And by all means, don't give that guy the time of day!

he's a jerk. just give yourself enough time to think things through, accept that things don't always work out, and come to the conclusion that you are a beautiful and independent woman, then move on the a new and better guy. don't worry, everything will work out in the end.

He's enjoying getting you to chase him around.
Ignore him, tell him he's probably right, let him see you interact with other guys. He'll go right back into chasing after mode and start flirting with you again.

Be glad that he come up front and told you instead of leading you on forever...or until he got you in the sack. Life goes on. Woman up!

you'll never forget him. it's a fact of life, but keep your chin up, you'll find someone. and just cause he doesn't want to date doesn't mean he not your friend still
