I would be upset. I don't like it if someone took my picture without my permission.
was the picture he took is the same one we see here. Then, I am so sorry to say, I would be upset and angry. I don't mean to offend you, but that picture looks scare to me. Your eyes are to dark, to black, and the face is too pale. I am sorry, I don't mean to hurt your feeling, but if I were you, I would put up a better picture. You look nice and that picture doesn't do you justice.
ADD:
Thanks for the reply to my question. I hope I didn't offend you. Just that picture is kind of scary with the deep dark eyes and the pale face. No offend was intended. Thanks again.
Happy New Year

Did he ever send you the picture? What do you mean by misusing it? What exactly are you worried he did with it??
As for where you were, I don't know what the law is, but here in Canada, the Supreme Court has already decided that question. Basically, if you are in a public place, anyone can take your picture without your consent. If however, they are planning to use it for commercial purposes, you could sue for damages and part of the profits. The same holds true for everyone, except public personalities.
Have you done a search on Google images to try and locate your picture to see if he used it in any strange way? Try that.
Good luck... and try to remember what my mom always said: When you worry before anything bad happens, all you're doing is buying trouble... and you'll pay for it with stress and anxiety.

What does your religion forbid this? No -
If you go out into the public domain, you may be subjected to someone taking your picture. You should be glad, because when this happens to me, I end up having to replace the person's broken camera! You evidently are attractive enough for people to take notice. the only thing more scandalous, would be the fact that now you are announcing the occurrence on the net!
You were intrigued, and stimulated by this, after all, it was a come-on... You probably should not have gave him your e-mail address. So don't be so stuck on yourself, and block this guy from your list, change your e-mail name, ect...

If I know this person ,I would well come it but a st anger takes my photo that is really warring .since I know not whom they might be .Any way I have never been in such situation .Famous people are the ones who suffer the most because of that .Take princess Diana ,she was not able to enjoy her time out because of photostealers.

Yes, I'll be offended if a stranger took a picture of me without my permission. Don't worry over the photo, if I may say so, you must be a beautiful and impressive lady and that is probably why he took your picture. Maa'lesh.

I would be angry if someone took my photo without permission, yes.
Most people are nice and have honest intentions and don't see the harm. It's still invasion of privacy and you should have been asked BEFORE the photo was taken.
I doubt you have anything to worry about...unlikely it will be misused.

With half the world walking around with any size, type of camera,
most anyone could take your picture and you would never know it unless they told you.
How should you stop any body with a video camera from including you in the shot as you walk by?
Why did you give your e-mail address????????????????

If I am in the background of some shot how can I prevent that I don't care sometimes if I know i am in the background I will wave and smile at the camera. I don't care how many pics people take of me as long as I am not indisposed, in the bathroom or dressing or something

It was just his way of 'breaking the ice'. He wanted some reason to get to know about you (your address!).
What do YOU do when you see someone whose looks you like? Just walk away, never knowing whether something significant might have come from it?
I admire what he did, risking rejection... ;-)

People have cameras, even phones are cameras these days...no telling how often our photo is taken that we don't even realize it.
No reason to be offended, but depending on who took it, it may be flattering or creepy.
When out in public, there's no such thing as privacy any more.
