Unconditional love is when you love a person no matter what (it doesn't mean you don't see their faults or acknowledge what they do wrong, it means you love them in spite of it, although, it does not mean that you let them get away with everything either). Blind love is when you refuse to see or acknowledge that a person has certain faults or is mistreating you or is not a good match for you because you want that person so badly. Unconditional love is great for a relationship because it helps to hold a healthy relationship together through tough times. Blind love is not so great because it will make one person miserable, and will enable the other person to continue to behave badly (possibly even in a self-destructive manner). It holds a relationship together which is unhealthy and will likely end one day when the person who is blind wakes up or when the other person leaves them. No matter how painful something is, it's best not to deceive yourself. Usually you are only postponing the pain and it will be worse at the end because of a growing relationship. Good luck.

what we mean when we say love is blind is that you are so in love with someone that you can't see any of their faults. they can't do anything wrong. everyone else around you can see it and will even tell you but you don't listen. and i'm not talking about little things like leaving dirty clothes in the middle of the floor or leaving the cap off the toothpaste. i'm talking about things like cheating, being abusive (physically and emotionally), or just using you for what you have or can give them. when we are blinded by love, we cannot see these things no matter how obvious it is.

I've only heard the saying love is blind, I think that means when your in love you can't see the bad qualities in a person you love everything about them

Blind love is like if the person you are in love with has glaring faults or is abusive or something and you just don't care because the love is so strong.

Blind love will allow you to ignore every value, principle and virtue you have, without giving it a second thought. You are powerless and a slave to the emotion that you feel. Nothing else is real or matters.....You will do anything for that person....I mean anything, because you are afraid to lose them...
