1.Overnight Method
If a pimple appears, do not pop it. It will cause infections and red scars.
Before you go to bed, wash your face (liquid cleansers work the best and do not over dry your face).
Pat dry, don't rub or scrub- bad for your skin and also creates wrinkles later on in life.
Some swear by toothpaste but it is a common acne myth. Toothpaste should be used only for your oral hygine, not your acne! Instead, use a paste made from baking soda and water.
By morning, the swelling should go down and the redness should be almost gone.
2.Mixture Method
In a container, mix 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, 2 teaspoons of lime juice, 1/2 cup of apple sauce, and 1/4 cup of ranch dressing. You should have created a thick creamy substance.
Rub on your face, neck, and back in full motion circles that will allow the cream to get into your pores.
Let sit on face for about 12 minutes.
Wash off with a washcloth drenched in ice cold water.
Repeat 1-2 times a day, until your zits are gone!
3.Hot Water Method
Get a bowl of water as hot as you can. Put one ice cube in it (only one.)
Allow the ice cube to melt, then get 2 Q-tips and a bar of soap. Wet one side of the q-tip in the water and rub the wet part of the q-tip on the soap.
Rub the soapy part of the q-tip onto the face gently but not too gently.
Hold your face over the hot water for 10 seconds. If no steam is rising up, dip some water out and get hotter water. Then hold your head over the bowl for 15 seconds so your pores can open a little. You can hold it over longer, but 15 seconds is enough.
Apply skin care medicine(optional). if you are going to apply some, try not to let it be acne lotion. Make sure it's a special treatment.
Dry face. You want to dry your face after you use this treatment because when your face is wet, your pores will still be a little open, letting the acne medicine get into your pores.
Pat your face dry. Pat it, don't rub it.
4.Long Term Method
Wash your hands with antibacterial soap before touching your face.
Wash your face with lukewarm water, never hot. Finding a medicated cleanser will help clear stubborn acne. Medications should contain one of these effective active ingredients: benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, or sulfur. If you plan on using medicated toner or moisturizer, skip the medicated face wash and use a gentle hypo-allergenic face wash suited for your skin type. Rub the face wash into your face for two minutes.
Rinse your face with cool water.
Use a good toner. Spray onto face or wipe on with a cotton ball and wipe off with a clean, dry cotton ball. This gets rid of excess cleanser. Good, inexpensive choices include plain witch hazel for normal to dry skin, or 3% hydrogen peroxide for oily skin. Some toners are medicated, too, and this stage is the best stage for putting on a medicated product.
Use a good moisturizer. Even if you have oily skin, you still need to moisturize. Use a gel moisturizer specified for oily skin. Some moisturizers are medicated.
Wait 15 to 20 minutes or so until moisturizer is completely absorbed, then put on a medicated "overnight patch" which contains salicylic acid in either a .5%, 1% or 2% concentration. Leave it on at least eight hours.
Drink plenty of water. Drinking enough water will dissolve waste products in your system so it can be easily remove and flush out. Without enough water, there won’t be much to dissolve these product wastes and toxics. These build up in your system until your body to expels them through your lungs and skin. Drink as much water as it takes to make your urine nearly clear.
Increase your fiber intake. Fiber will absorb toxins and product waste, and help your bowels sweep them out of your system fast. You’ll be able to speed up your bowels transit time, thus preventing your body from expelling toxics through your skin and preventing acne. Eat high fiber foods (fruits, vegetables, whole grains), and just enough so that your bowel transit time is 12-18 hours.
5.Long Term Method 2
Wash your face twice a day to get rid of excess oil and dirt in your pores. Using an acne cleanser helps, but if you have very dry skin, it may irritate it and make it peel more. In that case, use a cleanser that has moisture in it like Dove or Olay.
Use a face mask about every two days to deep clean pores and rip up any imperfections. A good one is 'Totally Juicy Face Products' in grapefruit.
Apply tea tree oil to the spots in which you want to clear up. If you apply it anywhere else, it may dry out your other pores too much and cause more breakouts.
Apply a face lotion that will not clog your pores, such as Olay or Clean and Clear.
About once a week, use a microdermabrasion kit. It gets rid of excess dead skin and evens skins tone. The Neutrogena one from drug stores works great!

I know, being a teen is rough sometimes! But you shouldn't give up! What I'm going to do it give you a bunch of recommendations. Now, these products and tips I'm going to give you are not pricey nor hard to keep up with so no worries. 1. Drink lots of water, and I mean lots! Water keeps skin hydrated and keep your skin clear. + also try drinking green tea ! 2. Exercise! Just trust me ;) 3. Don't eat or drink greasy/sugary things. At least keep it on the down low because those foods make your skin oily and break out easily and fast. Avoid pop, candy, fried foods and fast food. 5. Wash your face no more than 2 times a day. In the morning and before you go to bed. 6. Try wearing makeup no longer than 8 hours a day. 7. DON'T touch your face or pick on it. On your fingers and in your nails there are lots of germs and bacteria that may affect your face when touched. 8. When treating acne try more natural remedies at home. Don't go for the chemically filled products - they don't work well and dry out your skin. 9. Stress level must go down. Many people breakout because of stress. 10. Accept it and accept yourself! If you have a bit of acne, it wont be there forever and lots of people your age have it! You're not the only one ! Here are products that I use: I had some body breakouts and I used : BODY CLEAR® Body Wash Pink Grapefruit by Neutrogena and Neutrogena Body Clear Body Spray which worked really well. For my face I use : Clean and Clear advantage blackhead clearing astringent and tea tree skin clearing foaming cleanser which is from the Body Shop in Canada, so if you live in Canada your in luck if you want to get it. Otherwise, try getting something natural and/or oil-free. Exfoliating (you should do like 3 times a week) : Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub Mask (twice a week) : Honey and Oat 3-in-1 scrub mask from The Body Shop . Find a mask that will work for you ! All masks work pretty well. I like the one I used because it cleanses, polishes and moisturizes. For healing acne scars : I use vitamin E oil for it fades scars and promotes faster healing. *Hope this works for you! If it doesn't work the way you wished, consider visiting a dermatologist ! GOOD LUCK!

Okay first you have to calm down. Stress results in acne. Next, go to CVS or RiteAid or any other store that sells skin products. The best one that I have is Clearasil Blackhead. At first I used Noxema but it doesn't do anything. So use clearasil and wash your face daily 2 times a day and dont let anybody touch your face. Soon it a couple of days it will all go away.
Oh and never pop a pimple unless you see a white cap. Squeeze the pimple until all the white stuff is gone and them wash your face.

A lot of people I know who have used pro activ say that it made their skin worse. There are four steps to getting good skin cleanse, exfoliate, tone, and moisturize (moisturizing depends on the kind of skin you have, so it may not be necessary for you). If your skin is already in bad shape and is oily, then I suggest you moisturize only when you feel your skin is very dry. What I use that works very well on my skin is OXY for cleanser, I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub to exfoliate, Witch hazel for toner, and Aveeno for moisturizer. If Aveen may contain too much moisture for your skin try using a little bit of Curel. Try cleansing twice a day and if you see that your skin is getting dry after doing it twice then just do it once a day. If you are too lazy to do all of those one day, then just cleanse. YOU MUST CLEANSE EVERYDAY!!! OXY also has cleansing pads you can carry around with you.

Along with medication for acne, such as proactive (which I used for about 3-4years) you need to moisturize your skin with lotion every night & morning. The reason you're having acne is because your skin is dried out & it's producing oils, creating the acne. You skin needs moisture & lots of it. I had acne for 7 years & I wish someone would've told me to use lotion. Also, picking at your acne, popping pimples, will build up more & more pressure under your skin & your acne will only get worse. So DON'T TOUCH THEM!!!
