tonight for new years my friends and I are thinking about taking it. I really don't want to b/c i hate hallucinogens. But what will half a tab do to me and how long will it last?
Or should i just get a bottle of champagne and get smashed.

Well I suggest you choose one or the other don't mix the two. I haven't ever personally done acid but my fiance' has in the past and a half a tab of acid does enough to make you goofy. You won't actually see things coming off the walls or anything like that as you see on movies. The only time you'll see freaky stuff is if you put the acid under your eyelid and it will have to be one in each eyelid.
PS don't put the tabs in your eyelids. There are specific types of acid that goes there. Don't try to put the kind that goes in your mouth under your eyes.
Your vision will probably be enhanced. You'll see things out of the corner of your eyes begin to wave. You might even see natural thigns change shape a little bit but you won't see something that wasn't there to begin with be there.
Don't freak out or start thinking you are going to die. You'll have a bad trip if you freak yourself out. Just relax and enjoy the scenery. If you start to think bad things you'll see bad things. I've also heard you're not supposed to look at your reflection or it will give you a bad trip.
Keep water with you because like any drug you'll most likely want to drink and you'll probably have to as another way to prevent a bad trip. Do not mix alcohol with acid. THAT IS A NO NO. You could end up hospitalized and I am not even saying this as a lecture.
If you want to trip trip. If you'd rather get drunk get drunk but don't try to do both.
I know that most people are lecturing you or saying "Thats illegal stay away!" but no one can stop you from doing what you want to do anyway except the cops.
If you don't do it all the time and you don't get busted by the law I say party on dude.
Have fun and just remember to relax.
Oh yeah if you don't want to hallucinate or you don't like hallucinegens then don't do acid at all just get drunk.

Honestly , Doing 1/2 is pointless, if u want to fully experience acid as a one time do at least 1&1.5 or 2 (and make sure you're with someone who is experienced with acid) . Other wise 1 is ok. And FYI acid as a Hallucinogen is probably the best one to try, The chances if a bad trip are like 1 in 50. Just be prepared for nothing to make sense while u trippin.

If you dont like hallucinogens then dont drop acid, you fool. If the trip lasts 6 hours then you are going to hate it and its hard to force yourself to come down so you'll be stressed and if you are stressed then you might have a nasty trip which will ruin your evening and your friends evening
....so dont do it, it's a really bad idea
Btw, there is no way to know how half a tab will be different from a whole one. Depends on the tab.

Not only because you hate hallucinogens, but because those type of drugs are made in back room labs and you never know how strong they are are what is really in them. It's totally cool to be the odd one out if everyone else does it. Someone has to be in control. Hopefully everyone else will opt out too. Carefull with the champagne too. Alcohol related accidents are real, I know. They ruine the lives of more than the ones in the accidents. Call a cab if you need too. Be careful, have fun, and have a happy new year.

Hard hallucinogens are all about the set and setting. If you are going into it not wanting to do it, you are probably gonna have an unpleasant experience. As for the dosage, whodahell knows? 'Cid's always a crapshoot. Might do nothing, might melt the brain out the back of your skull. Don't go there unless you feel like taking risks with your sanity. *Tiny bubbles/In the wine...*

I did a third in my younger days, it was funny! yet how do you know that it will affect you that way. some of my friends enjoy cannibis but it makes me paranoid and i feel i cant breath and panic. your taking you chances with something like that. Now Champagne sounds fine, it has its draw backs (if you drink too much!) but its a tried and tested use of drugs and getting smashed sounds absolutly perfect to me. Id definately go for that option!!

Just go with the champagne. If you're ambivilent or already don't think you want to do it, then don't. You'll just ensure a bad trip and then you'll really have a new year to remember.

depends how much LSD is on the tab..for example if the tab contained 200 mcgs...u would ingest 100 if ur takin half..u will still trip harder than shrooms... even if u take 25 mcgs u will trip harder than on weed...

depends on the strength of it. it will last as long as a full tab but be less intense. sometimes less is worse because you don't get all wild and crazy but you just think. i don't trip anymore.
