I'm a filipina and I'm dating a Japanese guy... are we going to click despite our big differences?

Having spent a lot of time in Japan (lived there 1 year, travel there for business 5-6 times a year), and known a lot of filipina-japanese couples, here's what I've found out:
The vast majority of these end in divorce or splitting up. Much of the problem seems to come from the Japanese man's side -- many Japanese families have a very hard time "accepting" anyone not Japanese into their family, and everyone this guy knows (family, co-workers, bosses, etc.) will be constantly telling him that it's OK to fool around with a filipina, but not actually *marry* her! Eventually the social and family ostracism gets to him, and he ends it. While there are differences in every individual, and I truly think many of these men start off with the best of intentions, this is the way the vast majority of them end up. Filipinas are looked at by the majority of Japanese as "lower class," (don't feel bad, they feel this way about Americans too, and anyone who's not Japanese), and that's a hard thing to overcome.
Oh, and there's one other thing...the stereotype of Japanes men is that they're, um, (how to put it delicately) SMALL. Sex-organ wise. From my time in that country, I can tell you that the stereotype appears to be based on truth...:)
If this guy is really terrific, and you truly love him, then it might just work out. Unfortunately, I've seen far too many (at least 90% of the relationships I've known about) where it ended badly, so you're going to have to beat the odds.
