Both of the little guys will be just under two years old, so I want to have them walk down together, and a ring pillow to match the one I have is $30. If it comes down to it, I'll just get another one, no big deal - - but I was trying to think of something creative that one of the boys could carry instead. Any ideas?

They will both want to be a part so the pillow wont work if there is no ring. So put 1 ring on each pillow or think of something romantic for him to carry as a surprise for your significant other.

Have them both carry the pillow, my daughter did at her wedding. Sew fake plastic rings onto the pillow so they won't fall off and cause a distraction. Have the best man have the real rings in his pocket. Happy New Years, chow

A small, nice jewelry box. I have a Chinese-style one, that's what my ring bearer carried the rings in. (It was a Chinese-theme wedding).

But since a jewelry box goes with jewelry, I would try that. Also, it's easy for a little guy to carry.

Congratulations and good luck with the little guys. Experts don't recommend children under 4 be in weddings, but it certainly is your choice.

have them both walk down the aisle together with each one holding each side of the pillow...you could probably have longer ribbons sewn onto each side to be easy for both of them to carry. If they are both around two years old, they are going to look soo cute sharing the pillow down the aisle. Good luck with your wedding...enjoy everything that you can because the day goes by soo fast

no offense or anything, but if he's not carrying a ring, then he's not really a ring bearer. If you want him in your wedding, eiher give him the ring pillow or make up another job for him to do.

The other one could carry a bouquet of flowers, but that might be too feminine. How about he walk with the flower girl. Like him and the flower girl could walk down the aisle together and the ring bearer could walk in a few steps behind him, that would be cute.

Can the boys carry the pillow together with both rings on it? It would be a nice Kodak moment.

lol we have the same avatar....

anyways,

Chances are, with them being so young, things will not go as planned......
making them share a pillow, while yes a perfect kodak moment, is probably a recipe for disaster, they fill fight over it or one wont want to share or they will sit in the aisle and cry, and so on lol, i just got married december 9th and had 2 flower girls, and the 3 year old decided at the last minute that she "i dont want to do this"....

id suggest getting another pillow, and have one ring on each......thats the easiest, safest solution.

Have them both carry the pillow with the ring one on each side.

Of course it's OK. You don't have to do things the "traditional" way. Our daughter is going to be our ring bearer.
