Firstly - i am not vain, i have a great personality with a great sense of humor (this is not a personal ad!). I work in sales and marketing and atleast once a day i get someone telling me how beautifful I am. Like last night while im out with friends, 3times ive been told that (2 times by woman).
Even the band that sang last night - commentded me on that and then sang a song especially for me.
But now... the real problem. Why can't i find someone to be in a relationship with? I don't even go on dates!
Please dont reply with "you should be gratefull for what you have.."
I want a real answ

sometimes i do make the first move.. but then they only want to rip my pantys of, and im not in search of casual sex. Im looking for a real desent guy. And yes i really do have a great personality and a great heart. Among alot of things i do charity work, and devote alot of my time to people in need. I'm not into myself at all.

Some guys are intimidated by a beautiful girl. (LACK OF CONFIDENCE)
It does make it harder to approach than an average woman. When you try to strike up a conversation what do you start off with? "Gee ma'am you sure are pretty!!!" I just find it hard to concentrate, strike up a conversation, or even flirt in the presence of beauty. I am composed on the outside yet very nervous internally.
If she approaches that's fine, but clear signals need to be given. Depending on the setting the pretty woman in question could anything from an escort to a cop. A guy will instinctively question why the pretty girl is there similar to a defense mechanism.
The phrase "too good to be true" may apply to you which will make a guy pass on asking you out/dating you. Through no fault of your own you might fall into the rare category of woman that men don't want to get involved with because guys are so undeserving of a woman like you. I have been there myself; an ex of mine told me she didn't deserve a guy like me when she broke it off. I couldn't believe it because I never saw her as undeserving.
Anyway, don't worry about it because the right guy for you will come along. In the meantime, throw yourself into work and charity (it's what I do while waiting for someone worthwhile).

A little. But I think they would prefer to be in the company of someone with some brains. I think what you are experiencing is some rejection for Selling and Marketing yourself too much. Its wonderful to be beautiful and smart and independant, but you also have to show some humbleness about your self. No one likes somebody who has to let everyone know how wonderful they are. Or even repeat what wonderful things have been said about you from others. Just take the compliment gracefully and share your charm by complimenting and paying attention to others, that is much more attractive I think

I'll take your word on your beauty. Men are intimidated by beauty, and they will make excuse after excuse to not go up and ask a girl out, even when its obvious she is interested in them. Have you ever seen a really cute girl dating a guy that you might think is not up to her standards? The reason is because that guy had the guts and self confidence to ask them out. I guess in some rspects you can could call being beautiful a bad thing. Why not go ask these guys out yourself?

Men are intimidated by strong, beautiful women. They are afraid you will reject them. I have the same problem. I find I have to "tone down" my looks when I go out. I'm working on being more approachable and I generally have to be the one to make the first move.

No, but it seems to me you will continue having trouble because you are full of yourself. There is a vast difference between being confident and self assured, and being arrogant. A mature woman would know that and would attract a mature man.

Well maybe you need to be making the move on a guy instead of waiting for a guy to do so!

Ok. Most men are intimidated. I'm not and those like me aren't. But, we're hard to find. We live in everyone's eyes, and always steer clear of adulation. We know who has the qualities we all want and we know how to get the person!.....................(This ain't a personal ad either!)
But, finding one of us is tough,................

No, men find that very attractive. Maybe they just expect you to be confident enough to ask THEM. Try it. (I'm intending to study advertising next year. Any advice for me?)
