If you mean cheap as in low monthly rates and still great
coverage, consider high deductible plans that many companies
offer. I would also consider purchasing a discount benefits
plan for "luxury benefits" like dental and vision in addition,
depending on your needs.

Uh, self-EMPLOYED people?

Define "cheap." I pay about $525 a month for my insurance (wife and me) for an "okay" Blue Cross policy.

I'd suggest going to your local insurance agent, who might have some cheaper short-term plans.
