If a man says he likes your top coz it was punk and he likes punk rock, you like all the same bands, he blushes when you compliment him and looks down and smiles when you say hi to him does this mean he likes you a lot? And if he asks lots of more personal questions about family and smiles when I said I dumped my boyfriend. He also tells me personal stuff about himself and once when I was talking to another man he couldn't get me out the room quick enough and winked at me when the other man wasn't looking? Anybody got ideas on this? We are both in our mid thirites so please no suggestions of jumping on him etc!

Well it certainly sounds like he likes you ... don't build up too much expectation though, just keep spending time with him and if something is going to develop, let it take its course. If you plan for it, that's when it usually goes pear-shaped. Good luck!

I would definitely say there's a spark there!
There would be no point in all the compliments etc if he really wasn't interested. Why not go bowling together or something like that and see what happens.
Take it a step at a time but from what you've told us...sounds like you like him alot too!!

Come on! If someone asked your advice on this what would it be! OK I'll go along with it and reaffirm what you already know... Y E S he definitely likes you, and I get the impression you are happy about this, so just do whatever comes naturally to you, ask him if he wants to go out for a drink with you or to go and see a film or punk rock concert or whatever you would like to do for a dreaded first date. Go for it, you're onto a winner.

If a guy goes to the supermarket and buys some food, then he comes home and cooks the food, then he puts the food on the table, then he puts a napkin around his neck, then he picks up his knife and fork, then he licks his lips.
What do you think he wants to do to the food?
I dont believe that you are that clueless as to what is going on with your male friend. You are just trying to show off that you have an admirer.

Well it certainly sounds like he likes you a lot....also that he is perhaps a bit on the shy side....keep doing what you are doing and let things take their course...he may run a mile if you 'push' too much... if you get the chance you can drop something into the chat about how you like him...he is maybe wondering just as much about how you feel as you are about him!!....Good luck!

indeed he likes you! hang round him more often and try and get to know him...hopefully he will ask you out during this period and it may be the start of something?..good luck.
