He will go to school at Ft. Sill, OK. After his MOS school, depending on what he does in the Artillery, he can be stationed at one of 5 places: Camp Pendleton, CA, Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Camp Lejeune, NC, Twentynine Palms, CA, or Kaneohe Bay, HI. These are the ONLY permanent duty stations where there is Marine Artillery. Hope this helps.

Volunteer to go to the DMZ in Korea. Due to the fact that there was never an armistice signed after the Korean war, the DMZ is still considered a war zone. You will then be placed at the bottom of the list for tours of duty in the Middle East. There is always the possibility that Kim Jong Il will lob another nuke into the Sea of Japan, but I still think it to be safer than Iraq
Good luck and thanks for serving in the military.
