Absolutely! Thoughts have energy and therefore power. What you think and act upon internally becomes your physical reality. A shift in internal paradigm quite literally changes your world.

The objective isn't to "believe", but to "know": John 8:32.
Ye shall KNOW the truth... shall make you FREE.
(note the chanGe from "ye" to "you" in bible verses)

Which (law/grace) things are an allegory: Galatians 4
http://www.godshew.org/Allegory.htm

"know"-ing the truth makes you free of "believe"-ing the lies.
For even devils "believe": James 2:19.
So "believe not" every spirit: 1John 4.

No God, Know Problem... Law
Know God, No Problem... Grace

The law (lie) was given by Moses (Jn 1:17),
But grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

He "taketh away" the first, (Heb 10:9)
that he may "establish" the second.

Law: press DELETE to "take away"
Grace: press SAVE to "establish"

For only thing established by both = oxyMORON.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

No but I do believe that my thoughts affect every other area of my life. Can I change another person with the power of my thoughts? NO. Can I change them with my words? Perhaps. Can I control what comes out of my mouth contrary to my thoughts? Absolutely. Nana

What an interesting question! I think at times we do. But, I must be careful because that is dangerous territory. I have often said "I never thought I would do that" or "I never thought I would say that". But what did I just do? I had to have thought about it to do it or say it. That was a very complex question; I never thought I would be attempting to answer it.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but I may have something for you.

Yes, I believe that faith, or what you think in your subconcious mind, is a very big factor in what happens to you. God said have faith and it will be done.
