Can you get a restraining order on anyone, or does it have to be family or an ex?

file and offense report with ur local law enforcement agency. Then go to a Justice of the peace, show the report, and explain in detail why ur requesting a proctective order. If its credible, the judge will issue one out.. IN some cases ull be eligble for an emergency proctective order, depending on the situation. Yes u can file against anyone.

Anyone. Go to the County in which you live and file . Once you have filed it and the person gets it , YOU MAKE CERTAIN ""YOU"" do not break it---in otherwords say it says the person must stay 300 feet away or have ""NO"" contact at all then you make certain that happens because if you "allow" this person to come near then the restraining order is no good(on your behalf) it was a waste of time for yoou getting it.

You can get one to protect you from anyone if there is a valid reason, see your local courts to get one. Judge has to approve it
