How many divisions are there in Christianity, if any?

It is divided into three main groups: Roman Catholicism, Eastern Christianity, and Protestantism. Most denominations fall under these categories, but there are some who claim themselves outside of these three main groupings. Here's a site with the info.

If any? where have you been? There are at least 1000 different divided Baptists alone. All the protestant denominations are divisions. Even the Catholic church is divided.

If you go to church at all you will find divisions in each church also.

Southern Baptists claim once saved always saved and any doctrine that differs is hell bound. The Missionary Baptists beleive that you must have works and you can fall from grace and that the once saved always saved doctrine will lead you to hell.

That is just 2 examples from my experience in both types of Baptist churches.

Baptists, catholics, Methodists, Mormons, Protestants, Mennonites, Anglicans, puritans, Quakers, regular Christians, Lutherans, etc. I think over 2 hundred different sects of Christianity.

There are a lot of denominations in Christianity. There are Catholics, Presbyterians, Episcopelians, Pentecostals, Lutherans, Mormons, Jehovah's witnesses, etc.

Oh gosh...many! The main ones are Catholicism (but that has no divisions) and Protestants...they've broken up into MANY sects!

too many most denominations are more interested in thier own traditions than in true worship and many worship the almighty Dollar more then the Almighty God!
