I'd rather receive a thoughtful gift than an expensive one.

The gift, Josh, is going to mean the most if it has had thought into choosing it and comes from the heart. My B.F. usually gives me practical things that I need, BUT, that is because he listens to me and has HEARD what I have said about needing something. He then determines if the gift is appropriate for the occasion. He would never give me an iron for Christmas, but may have heard me say I want to get more exercise this year and get that treadmill I was looking at. You see? Thought and appropriate for the occasion....That's the way, love. Best to you and your g.f. Nana

I like to get presents that are thoughtful and that you can look at when your older and think back on it.. not something that can just sit their and collect dust though. PUt some thought in it and the gift you give her.. make sure you have a story that goes with it .. like why you got that gift.. for example.. i got a waffle maker and i thought it was kinda weird till he told me that during the hurricane.. at the hotel .. i loved makin those waffles in the waffle maker.. so he got me my own.. that just shows how much you care... and how much you really pay attention! :)

Cost isn't impressive. Something that showed thought is what mattered. Like if in some conversation she mentioned she loves trivia questions and always knows stupid knowledge. You might want to look at buying her one of the bathroom's readers books.

It depends on how far into the relationship you are,
but I would suggest lingerie, and some diamonds.
