Yes, i have. I used to write them in my journal when i was really depressed. I never actually wanted to kill myself, but sometimes i would just write them. WELL, my mom found my journal "it was just open in the middle of your floor..." And she read it and sent me to a psychologist. The spychologist did not help at all, she was retarded. The thing that helped me was my psychology teacher in highschool. She was the best teacher in the world, and would give us writing assignment, and i felt comfortable, and i once wrote how i felt. She took me aside after class, and she explained to me that highschool is NOT the best time of your life, infact it can be the worst (which it was for me). Kids make fun of you, you can't drive, you have to obey your parents...and whatever. She reminded me that THE BEST YEARS OF YOUR LIFE ARE YET TO COME. If you end your life, you will be missing out on all the wonderful years ahead of you. I don't know if you are still in highschool, but i assume you are young. Rather than writing another suicide note, write down your hopes and goals for the future. Write about what you are looking forward to. I know this is kind of stupid, but i have always looked forward to working with animals, and getting a dog. I now work with animals, which i LOVE, and i am still waiting on the dog (not enough money for one yet). What do you want to do or see when you get older? And if this doesn't help, maybe a counsler or psychologist will help you, there are some good ones out there, i have just not come across one. I hope this helps, and i hope you feel better soon.

No. But one time when I was having a "down" period as you are right now, I wrote a note regarding my depressing feelings. It was found and mistaken for a suicide note. It created a lot of life long problems for me. I only go into my personal experience in order for you to understand my answer.....
For self therapy, I write notes to myself, like a diary. I write all my thoughts. It seems to help as I write them out. And before you know it, I am feeling much better about myself and about the situation. It gives me strength to know I can resolve what has put me in this state of depression. It's like talking to a counselor, only, I figure out the problem on my own when I see it on paper. You might give this a try. But.... take my advice, once you have written your note or letter out to yourself, SHRED IT, or, burn it. This is your private escape and therapy. I still write myself a note now and then. But now I list all the bad thoughts and all the good thoughts as well as a list of goals to do away with the bad thoughts. I shred my letters once I am satisfied and feel better with confidence. Believe me it works. We all get depressed now and then. At one time it was thought that only women go through this. But this is not so. Men go through depression more than we know. Built up depression can be dangerous for you and sometimes people around you. If you don't release your down feelings, you create monsters. Some people have been known to go over the edge with deep depression. If my home remedy does not work for you. Then please, I urge you, to seek help from a counselor.

NO i haven't
It is new year eve cheer up!! who knows what new year brings for you. why suicide? when things change one day from another. It seems like we are always trying to get the life we want but if it doesn't turn out the way we want we find a way out.
don't run from your problem if you can't do any thing about it just let it be the way it is. Let positive energy flow just let it go, it is not worth your life and if you want to see the difference from one day to another you have to stay a life you have to be here to experience the feeling of change.
Think about it, you life worth much. Don't wast it.

Well, a note can be a way of seeing what is wrong, and then facing it. I'm sorry you feel down. I know from experience what that's like. Try to get into something that gets you out of yourself.....I make music c.d.'s and listen to them in the bath. Or, watch a great movie. Take a walk. Just remember..........this feeling doesn't last forever.

I have written a goodbye note like if something happens to me like a car accident or i get killed or something... i write what i want my parents to do with my body for example i want to be cremated, and what to do with my things, and who to give my dog to, things like that is kinda stupid but important for me and i end the letter by saying i am a happy now and in a better place.... And by the way you shouldn't let your sorrows ruin your life, you should talk to somebody like your best friend or something and share your feelings, remember theres people that love you more than you think...... God Bless Happy New Year

Please don't it's not worth the piece of paper you are thinking of writing it on. I seriously suggest that you get some counselling and support. There is so much that life has to offer you. With a change of attitude and lifestyle you will open windows of opportunity and potential that have just been waiting for you to come along.

don't act on it and you will be fine, don't be down, it's the new year. make a resolution to make it your best, cheer up, life is a precious gift and it's not the legacy you want to leave behind, suicide is not the answer. get help if you can. OK?
