This could hurt your relationship, I know that the friend is know longer her friend or yours, which is sad!!! I hope that she will be able to trust you again but it is going to take some time, I can tell you that when she leaves on business again, her mind will always be on what your doing and who with!! So that will be a problem unless you can go with her....This is going to take along time, to rebuild your relationship, But you did this, so if she stays with you, expect her to be spacious with everything!!! Put your self in her shoes and see how you would feel if she had done this to you...I wish you luck she sounds like a diamond!!!!

Keep apologizing. If the love is so strong as you say, there might be a chance that she will forgive you; but to gain her trust 100% will be very difficult. Talk sincerely, tell her how you gave in mostly because you guys are far apart. If you reallly love this girl and want to marry her, maybe you can think of moving to where she is, closer to her, and keep your pants zipped with a lock to all other females out there. You dont know how hard it is for a female to feel safe with you after you cheated, it is going to take alot of time. Give her time to think about it too, cuz you at least told her straight out and didnt hide anything, and that does say you remorse what u did. Maybe she will forgive you, hang in there and give her time, write to her alot, keep apologizing, and dont do it again if she forgives you. take care

ok, first of all, you cannot completely love someone and cheat on them. not even once. it doesn't work that way. no, things will never be the same. sometimes people never get over the fact that they have been cheated on because it's always in the back of their mind if you will do it again. not only that, but you did it with one of her friends, that's a whole different story. she will never be able to trust you around her friends again which will put a new stressor on your relationship as well. good luck.

Well, if you love her so much, why did you cheat on her with one of her friends? I've been wronged (cheated on by almost every guy I've ever gone out with) So, I would say she should dump your a**, and you shouldn't get married in the future, but I don't know, maybe you'll change, I highly doubt that. Have a good day.

Hi confused,
I am curious, do you know and understand the meaning of total and complete destruction and annihilation? That is what you have done to a special relationship.
You can only hope for one option and that will be her forgiving you for what you did.
But her forgiving you will carry with it a bitter sweet reality that will never go away and that is:
She can forgive you, because of her fiminine nature, but, . . . . . . . .She will never ever forget, and if you think she will ever completely trust you again, . . . . . . . .you got another think coming.

She would have to be super woman to be able to get that past her mind. She may be able to move past it. But for a long time she's going to think about it. Eventually you DO move past being cheated on but it's just whether by the time she gets to that point the relationship has already been ruined or not. Give her her space, don't push anything on her. Mainly, give her time.

my basic concern is that a sense of trust has been broken by this betrayal. whatever your reasons for sleeping with her friend, which she may be trying hard to understand, the first step you should take is knowing why you slept with her friend. Where you lonely and missing your girlfriend perhaps, was it purely physical? and if you relationship is as strong as you say it is, discuss it with her. help her understand.she needs that sense of trust to be RE-BUILT GRADUALLY or this event may be forever in her mind for the continuation (it may be the cause of a break up even) of your relationship.
Hope this helps

Unfortunately chances are things will never be the same between you. She may forgive you eventually, but I wouldn't hold your breath. Even though the chances are slim, you can be prepared to do a lot of grovelling and apologizing if you want even a shot at getting back in her good graces.

My buddy, in the event that they have been appropriate before there does no longer have been cheating. What you do now could be pass forward to make the main suitable courting you could. this is accessible that it could incredibly be much greater effectual than before. God bless the two one in each and every of you.

sorry to say but, once a person has cheated it will never be the same, the trust is gone and the other person can never fully forgive.
