I mean he's God. Just come out and say it and spell it out.
He can do anything he wants.
It would have taken all of 3 or 4 sentences tops. Poof! We get it.
Free will would have been so much easier from there.
It would have saved a huge amount of wrangling about and a great deal of heartache.
Interpreting this, looking for signs their......waste of valuable time and effort.
Seems all a bit silly really.
Probably should be a do over.
Thoughts? Expound?

Faith must be blind. Folks can't see this is a HUMOR and ENTERTAINMENT question.

Holly.....OHHHHHH He loves us so much he doesn't WANT TO TELL US ANYTHING BECAUSE I'D BE SO OVERWHELMED I'D JUST STOP THINKING ALL TOGETHER.
You're absolutely right, what could I possibly be thinking. Millions of deaths later, you're absolutely right.

That's a thoughtful point Chris. Not funny, but thoughtful.

The problem is, that all we've got nowadays is the Bible. And humans wrote that. I'm sorry, but I don't place my trust in humans because I know we're flawed, which is why I can't trust the Bible in its entirety. I just put my faith in God, and hope He'll lead me where I need to go.

How would free will have worked at that point? God appears to everyone simultaneously and says the 3 or 4 magic sentences that allows everyone to know that He's God and all Powerful and rules the Universe. Then He says - but you can believe or not believe just as you choose. That's a lot like a toddler asking for ice cream and being given a choice between carrots and broccoli. There's no real choice once God speaks to you directly, and He understands that. His love for us is so great that He doesn't want it returned because we must, but because we desire it.

Is it really a good idea to question the will of God? Myself, I'm pretty comfortable and happy simply trusting Him...

Where have you been? God already did that. People still didn't/don't believe or listen. I mean come on. We're (all of us) the equivalent of teenagers obeying/listening to their parents. I don't think God coming right out and saying "his/her" point would make much difference. Humans are too fickle too really understand.
