I beleive in God, first of all. I ask this question, because lately I am beginning to see that my prayers get me nowhere. Still, I am not mad at God. I just figure maybe God has already woven the future, past and present...and all that will be. Maybe our prayers aren't meant to be acknowledged sometimes if it is not in "The Master Plan" of the cosmic scheme of things. Maybe God does care, and that's why the Earth hasn't gotten hit by a comet the size of the moon yet, but maybe that's all we get. As for individuals though, I don't think God cares. I mean, we are talking about the guy that did stuff like this: http://hubblesite.org/gallery/album/nebula_collection/

Do you really think God cares about us piddly humans and our problems, except on a very broad scale (like keeping Earth suspended in orbit and filtering out space rocks that can destroy us all through the Kuiper belt), do you???

How conceited are we?

If you think about it, our personal problems arent much, people are starving to death, do you know this feeling? If your typing on a computer, talked on a phone, used a refrigerator to get something to eat, trust me man, your getting taken care of, life could be ALOT worse for you.

I do believe God cares about our suffering. Remember, God did do all that which is seen by the hubble telescope - but how did he do it? By little tiny atoms at a time. It seems massive to us, but it is still made up of tiny atoms.

I feel that God is all-aware of everything in the universe. He is a constantly attuned Consciousness. So he is intimately aware of suffering, as it goes on at all times in every part of the universe. I do think He cares. God is within you as much as He is "out there."

I think God will answer your prayers in the way that is best for you. Ok, here's a really really lame example, but it's all I can come up with at the moment:
This Christmas, I did not get a whole lot. I did not mind, as I enjoyed giving more than receiving, but if you look at it materially, I really didn't get much at all, compared to the amount I am used to receiving. But the reason I didn't get much, is because my parents are saving money to buy me a whole new bedroom set! That's bigger than anything I've received for Christmas before.
So sometimes you just have to be patient and see how things unfold. I know, that was a lame example! But I do think it works like that a lot.

Maybe it doesn't seem like you're getting your prayers answered now. But maybe God is carefully planning something very wonderful for you in the future. I sure hope so! God bless!

There are instructions (all Bible based) on how to get answered prayer at this site: http://godisruleroftheuniverse.com Go to the home page and click on the Prayer link which is located in the left index column.

Yes, God cares us about us - that is why He sent Jesus to die for us. Adam & Eve gave up eternity and rights on this planet when they turned over the lease of this planet to Satan. God redeemed us (via Jesus), however, God cannot lie therefore He cannot interfere on this planet until that lease expires. The only way He has power on this planet is through humans and also through the Holy Spirit. It really is too long and complicated to give the whole history here in just a few short paragraphs.

God does love care about everyone. The coming of Jesus is delayed because God wants everyone to have a chance to be Saved.

Yes, He does care though sometimes it seem like He doesn't. He is Love. He has numbered every hair on everyone's head! Imagine that! He does love us even when we do wrong, even when we hate Him or think the worst of Him. He loves us even when we don't want anything to do with Him. Sometimes we avoid Him because of our preconceived ideas about Him which are usually wrong.

Christianity says that man is a little bit lower than the angels while humanism says we're a little bit higher than animals. God made this planet for us to enjoy and walk with Him. As marvelous as the universe is, we are the crown of His creation and even though we fell into sin and went our own way and let death, and destruction in, He still loves us and made a way of redeption through Jesus Christ. John 3:16 says it best. Check it out! Also check out Hebrews 11:6. He loves you ! He really really loves us! I've experienced it personally and there ain't nothing else that can compare to that in the whole universe!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. ---John 3:16

Question for you.-- Did God send His Son to the 'Earth' to the trees and flowers and animals and oceans? Or did He send His Son to the 'World' His Children, People.

The Heavenly Father does care. He wept when His Son suffered and died for you, and He weeps when you are hurting.

God has an enemy, one who thought he could rule better than God, one who, in fact, thought God's creations should have no rules. When all have seen for themselves that God's law is just and necessary or that Satan is correct and laws only hinder us from reaching our full potential, when all have decided one way or the other, suffering shall be brought to an end. Our Father is waiting for a few more of His beloved children to choose Him and life.

The veil of darkness is the reason for our suffering. God is always willing to reveal the light. The Lord of Darkness deceives you and will lie to keep you, from turning to the light. Deep and Vast is his power from the dark, to destroy man and rule in his place. Know man is master of life.

You pray to god for answers not for him to fix all our problems personally.. God gives each person the power to improve and learn from our mistakes. I believe God does care but he will not interfere with the choices we make in our life, we were giving one true freedom and that's the choice to think and decided our own actions. I hope whatever problems you may be having works out for you, keep praying and asking for Gods guidance not his help. Goodluck

God is the source of everything including suffering. We suffer due to our identification with our physical body. Sometimes the father chastises the child in order for him to learn a lesson, similarly our Supreme Father allows us to suffer so we can learn. It is all done with love.

There is nothing more conceited than religion.

The creator of the universe acknowledges ME, takes an interest in ME, hears MY prayers and loves ME.

I know what you mean, when i went to church with my wife and everyone that had prayer request were only thinking of themselves. What about all the kids out there suffering in Africa or Women being beatin in India. When the majority of christians pray they are only worried about their own selves.
