Read the history of music. At one time all music was outlawed other than single note Gregorian chant.

A humorous and great question!
I will answer it from the point of view of music itself. "No!" Why?
If you take a look at music history, you will discover that during the time of Pope Gregore, the only accepted harmonies were P4 and P5. Anything else was forbidden! Not only that but what we call either a Flat 5, Augmented 4, or a tri-tone, was considered the Devil's Interval and was completely Verboten!
If you take all of this into consideration, you would not only NOT have rock music, you wouldn't have any modern music at all. No Bach, no nothing! Even the beautiful music written by Leonard Bernstein in the musical, "West Side Story" would be verboten due to the fact that he based it on the Lydian mode. That mode uses the verboten Devil's Interval. So a song like "Maria" would be shut out of heaven!
If you would like to know what the Lydian mode sounds like, go to a piano keyboard and play only the white keys from F to F. The notes from F to B are a tri-tone - that infamous Devil's Interval!
Don't know about you but I think musically, heaven is going to be an incredibly boring place to be!

Your question made me think of something....If people are able to hear the trumpets, then heaven can't be located anywhere that doesn't have an atmosphere. Outerspace is a vacuum, so there would be no sound. Back to your question---of course there are electric guitars! I think one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard is No Leaf Clover by Metallica where they play with the orchestra. There better be music like that, or I'm not going.

No (plural)trumpets in (singular)"heaven", only the "last trump" it:
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.
...which is played by Paul The Apostle (not Johnny Law Law).

The heaven you refered to is on "high" in left/right "heavens", not the "heaven" that is notably "higher than the heavens".
http://www.godshew.org/RevelatorySermons21.html
And the higher exhortation is: mind not "high" things: Rom 12:16, for "high-minded" is among "un-holy" things listed in 2Timothy 3; So the higher exhortation is: "be not high-minded": Rom 11:20; 1Tim 6:17. Selah.
As for the 'Lord's House', it depends on which Lord you speak of, of two Lords (Son of God vs Son of man is "also Lord" of the Sabbath). If it's the "also Lord", then it's Law of Law vs Grace, the L-oser of Loser vs Winner take all. If it's "the Lord" of "Lords", then it's Grace of Law vs Grace... in which (Law/Grace)things are an "allegory", in both "covenants": Galatians 4
http://www.godshew.org/Allegory.htm
Not to mention "the end" of the God Shew is already written:
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Both the good and the bad will sing to the rock. The good will sing to the Rock of Ages, and the bad will sing to the rocks to hide them from the face of the God they have rejected and blasphemed all the time.

I'm guessing the music and exaltation in heaven will be unlike anything comparable on earth. In those many rooms there'll probably be many kinds of musicians! I'm counting on it.

Have reason and feeling. Don't do things just because it feels good.
