My and my boyfriend of three months just broke up. He stopped coming over because he had to "work with his dad" but then i found out that the real reason was because i wouldnt have sex with him. I heard a lot more about him but it really doesnt matter except for the fact that he had some plans to take me into a private place so that we could have sex. He also wanted to sleep with another girl because she was willing to have sex with anyone. Since i already knew he wasnt going to quit being a jerk until i had sex with him... i ended it. I have morals that i want to live up to even if it causes me to lose my boyfriend. I am 15 yrs old and he is 17... i am also a virgin and i dont feel ready to give that away. I think i did what was right, but did i take the sex issue to serious?

You shouldn't ever do anything in a relationship that you don't feel comfortable doing. If you have to talk yourself into doing something, or someone else does, then you should stop and examine with a clearer mind whether or not you really want to do that thing. What someone else is doing or what they feel is right for them isn't necessarily right for you or what you should be doing.

Sure, a relationship involves two people, and you need to consider both of you when making choices and decisions concerning it. But that applies to the person you are in the relationship with as well. So neither of you should feel forced to do something for the other out of that other person's selfishness. If what they desire is only for themselves and does nothing or little to promote the two of you as a couple, then it is best to avoid giving in to their desire.

You did the right thing!!! I am proud of you. Sex is more than just two bodies going at it. It's emotional and at 15 sex can mess your life up if you aren't absolutely ready. Keep your morals and your sanity. When the right guy comes along YOU WILL KNOW. Trust yourself. You seem to a smart young woman!

No way, good for you. When you sleep with someone for the first time it should be because you want to and because it feels right. Your better off without that jerk, theres other guys out there who will respect you more than him.

You were 100% right honey, and well done you for having morals.
He didn't care about you all he wants is sex & he doesn't care who with.
You did right to end it cos basically you deserve better and having sex isn't a right or an essential it's a part of an adult, loving relationship and that takes months & months to happen.

I think you did the right thing. I am lucky because I am 15 and my boyfriend is 17, but he doesn't pressure me into doing anything. I take advantageof it too.

Good for you!! You did the right thing! Wait till the time and the person is right for you. If he was a real man he would understand your decision. You are better off without him!

Kudos You did excellent. There is no need to rush into something you dont want to do, especialy sex. If he tries to contact you and convince you to do it speak to an adult for some more advice. Stay strong and wise.

No you are right in your feelings. Your way to young for that especially if you dont feel ready. You will regret it someday if you do something like that and you are not ready.
