"Will you step out on faith in 2007 Jesus is God and can save you from the fate that you(everybody really) deserve becuase of sin."
When I look at this question, I end up feeling so badly for people like yourself who are other directed. Always looking outward for answers. Trying desperately to find something "out there" that will satisfy your need to know the ultimate "why?" Then that "why" gets all mixed up with dogma; rules and regulations on how one MUST conduct their life otherwise face ultimate punishment. This is all just so terribly sad to me. Instead...
May I ask you, "Will you step out in faith in yourself?" THAT is the ultimate question that will either motivate you for good or something more unseemly. From there, will you come to understand that "sin" is an intellectual construct created by man? In reality, it doesn't exist. Instead, we have simple cause and effect. If you do something that goes against the society within which you live, you will suffer the consequences. If you act with honor and do all that you can to help others and live an exceptionally positive life, you will receive the accolades that you most assuredly deserve.
Walk out in 2007 with faith in yourself and you will move mountains.

It's interesting the way you phrase the question. Assuming you are a fundamentalist Christian, why do you address your question to atheists and non-believers? Is there any difference, in your belief system, between an atheist and a nonbeliever? Aren't all those who don't believe exactly as you do atheists?
And what about those with a strong belief in God, but who express their faith in a different way than you do? . . . . Buddhists, Catholics, Hindus, Jews, Moslems, Mormons, Quakers, Episcopalians . . . . Are they atheists?
I don't ask this question in order to provoke. I just want to know if I'm an atheist so I'll know whether to answer your question or not.

at the start, i'm not a huge fan of the "judgment day concept" if God exists and he/she is so all understanding, there is not a huge gamble to describe your self, you will basically bypass the place you're going. Assuming I did have faith this inspite of the shown fact that, my respond could be that sure I did have faith, even inspite of the shown fact that it became faith in mankind, not in a e book. whilst my faith won't have been interior the same old experience, I nevertheless believed interior the recommendations of ideal and incorrect, and lead my existence ethically. As for the "God won't forgive you" i would not show regret, purely say that I stayed authentic to my convictions, it somewhat is the authentic which potential of religion.

I before e except after c AND when you are spelling atheist.
No, I won't make a resolution to unlearn all I have learned so that I can believe for no particular reason. No way, not at all, by no means. Evidence, not the first day of the year would be my motivation to do so should evidence ever be presented.

To step out on faith is to step into a void. There is no god, and all of the wanting to believe it just doesn't make it so.

Tell you what, you prove your faith by stepping off the top of a very tall building, and I'll come to church with you the next Sunday.

You can have faith in a lot of other things than Jesus. And no, that doesn't mean you're going to hell for being on the wrong team.

You don't seem to understand atheists.
To an atheists, your writings are as true and legitimate as MY holy writings are to YOU (I'm a Wiccan).
If I told you that Thor was not happy with the way you were living your life and that you needed to make an altar to him in the coming year, would you listen to me? Would you think "Maybe I'm wrong about Jesus. Maybe I SHOULD start worshipping Thor."?
I doubt it.

You are referring to events that may or may not have happened 2,000 years ago. I have news for you, we worked out gravity, Cosmology, the human genome, Relativity, disease control and so on since then.
