Its a vase that belonged to my mother who passed away and i never asked her what it meant. can anyone help me out?

Sounds like it may have been a part of a much larger apothocary set of which yours, was one. Aloe Tincture possibly? Im not certain about the name itself...

Is it white and blue with fancy calligraphy writing? Then it is 18th centruy Italian apothocary... If not, Im not certain? I would have to see it as would anyone who could help you. Include a picture?

It may have been used to store a pharaceutical - Aloe Tincture is a soothing solution that was/is used on the skin. Perhaps it once contained this?

Check out this link. You are reading in wrong I think. It is supposed to be Tinctura Aloes. It's an old herbal rememdy.
