Hmmm...
I think if you child asks questions you should answer them...with respect to the truth and their age.
As for secrets....they are secrets if you dont share them. I thin the best place for those that you are ashamed of should be lifted up to your savior, God. They are not to be exposed for hurting your children.

The personal problems that their dad and I had the first 25 years in our marriage......It was between him and I and not for them to know....as far as they knew they grew up in a loving, happy home to bring friends home to.
