Here is an idea I have. How about we slowly pull out of Iraq and Afganistan. We next go to China, Russia, Britian, maybe a couple others (notice I didn't say France, they are a bunch of...) and we have a closed door conversation about the Middle East. What we propose is to allow the Middle East countries to fight amongst themselves without intervening. Let Isreal fight there own fight. Let Iraq go to crap. Let the Middle East do this because the majority of the people living there are not rational. They are impossible to deal with because many do not care if they die. I think it would take a lot of people to die and a lot of countries to topple before the Middle East will ever stabilize. Let them nuke each other if it comes to that. What we tell Britian, Russia, etc is that when the fight is over we will all come in unilaterally and "fix" the Middle East. It is kind've like erasing the drawing board when you have completely screwed up. I have run out of charecters sooo.....

Finally a sensible idea, too bad it won't work because nobody can mind their own business. Too many bleeding hearts.

Your logic is flawed in many ways. Regardless of what many think of the United States and some other countries. We do care about human suffering and freedom. Israel would fall and what would happen then ? Don't you think the Jews have suffered enough already. The middle east would soon be all of Africa, then where would it stop ? Simply it would never stop. Crazy leaders are never satisfied and want more. There are many good people in the middle east that just want peace and not to continue with the killings.

We tried that once before, with Russia. That was the beginning of the Soviet Union. Worse than that, it was the creation of the Iron Curtain. Obviously, you're too young to remember the post WWII era, but that's what happened.

Joseph Stalin was a horrible leader, he was responsible for the deaths of 20 million Russians, so that he could stay in power. The present day leader of Russia, Vladimir Putin, shows many similarities in his leadership style, to that of Stalin. Granted, Putin is not the mass murderer that Stalin was, at least not yet. He has proven that it's not very wise to cross him, evidenced by the string of poisoned Russians who opposed him. He's not a very honest businessman either. His tactics of holding hostage, natural resources from neighboring country's, until they agree to pay his outrageous increases, smacks of doing business with an undesirable.

Let's face it pilgrim, Vladimir Putin is not someone you want to partner up with to develop a win, win situation! Oh well, back to the drawing board.

They best way to solve the problems in the Middle East, force Israel to open their government up to the Palestians. As opposed to making the Palestians to form their own government Israel should create a joint government with the Palestians.

All of the problems in the Middle East stem from Israeli Palestian conflict.

that might solve the current problem but then we have the problem of trying to carve up the area among powers who all have nukes ands lots of them.
we tried that after WWII and it led to the cold war.
i don't think we could agree.but it's nice to see someone is thinking out there.
