What the Bible is most likely talking about is God created us in the same image as hi personality. We are born with all personalities but as we grow older we influence certain ones and allow the others to die. We as humans are weak and when God created us we had no sin but when the devil lured us we introduced sin into the world. As for what God looks like he probably has no features. The reason why Jesus was Arab when he came is because people would accept him more then if he was different in appearance. If he would have come today he most likely would be white or asian

The image is not physical, since God is not physical, but spiritual in his nature. In Colossians 3:10, we see that the image of God definitely includes knowledge. Man made in God's likeness also has the capacity to be creative, and to have dominion over the earth, the capacity to think, to make choices, the capacity to become God-like; to seek God and commune with Him ...

an image is just a reflection of the real thing... just as you look in a mirror and see the image there...the image is not solid reality..it is the response of light and from off the mirror surface.
we were not made as a physical duplicate of god because god is not made of dirt..he is not 5'9" tall and weighs 160 lbs.....however, we have a reflection of his form in how we are made.
we are not made as a duplicate of his perfect nature either...we again are only a reflection of that..Being created beings, we have limits...however, in the beginning, the holy spirit was give to us to give us life...
it says in the bible that all that god made was GOOD....it did not say all that was made was PERFECT...only god is perfect...
therefore, with free will given to man, it was possible for him to sin and fall from grace...he had been given the gift of the holy spirit to make good decisions and understand the will of God and how it lined up with his own, but he chose his own will over god's. That was his mistake...that is the mistake we all make when we sin...

God obviously did not create us exactly like himself because God has no physical body. Instead, we are reflections of God's glory. Some feel that our reason, creativity, speech, or self-determination is the image of God. More likely, it is our entire self that reflects the image of God. We will never be totally like God because he is our supreme Creator. But we do have the ability to reflect his character in our love, patience, forgiveness, kindness, and faithfulness.

No - God created man in His image and because God is spirit therefore man is spirit also.
Being created in his image is pretty awesome when we look at who God is. The Bible is full of his character: just read through the Psalms and you see God described as righteous, merciful, loving, wise, joyful, majestic, trustworthy, radiant, pure, saviour, judge, refuge, sustainer, father, compassionate, counsellor… and on go many more attributes of God.
Psalm 19 is one of my favourites, as it illustrates the power of the almighty Creator, the reality of being created in his image and the consequence of being in relationship with him. We are created in the image of God, therefore we bear something of his character – something of his majesty, his mercy, his wisdom, his righteousness - we are not perfect in all these characteristics, but we are still masterpieces created in God’s image even though the image of God in us is flawed by sin [Genesis 3].
A masterpiece may age and decay, crack and be defaced, yet through all the imperfection you still perceive the masterpiece and it still holds its value as a masterpiece. God sees us as his masterpiece! We are reflections of him and he loves us, we are his meticulous and loving design, as the psalmist says in Psalm 139.

We were created in His physical image. We were given free will and the understanding of good and evil so the choice is ours whether we are good or evil.
