No. What happens is your body continues to crave protein, so you feel hungry. But if you don't give it protein, it still needs it, so you get hungry again as soon as your body processes the food enough to realize it's not getting what it needs.

It can be true if your meat diet includes McDonalds, KFC, more fast food meats and even fresh meats containing a lot of fat. If u buy lean cuts of meat then being a vegetarian will not cause you to lose weight cuz abviously meat wasnt the one causing the problem. Anyways, when ppl become vegetarian, they often are more hungry and replace their usual protien source with all kinds of fatty foods and carbs.

i'm a vegetarian but that doesnt necessarily mean you'll lose weight. if you don't eat meat, you could replace those foods with unhealthy food like potato chips or pizza or fries. you have to eat healthy and eat vegetables and fruits if you wish to lose weight. hope that helps!

Most things like potatoes, pastas, soybeans, and rice are loaded with carbs.
