For all of the people that are saying it was stopped to early. Did you see how when Chuck hit him in the first round he fell back hit the fence and then fell foward. ROCKED!!!! He is lucky it didn't get stopped there. As for it getting stopped to early I will put all of that garbage to bed right now by typing a quote said by Randy Coture right after the fight was over. "Going into the fetal position IS NOT intelligently defending yourself." Simple.

I am an fan of both UFC and PRIDE. Chuck lidell basicly dominated the fight, and was not afraid of Tito's punching ability. That's why he had his hands down low through out the fight, mocking Tito. Have to give Tito credit, he trained hard for this fight. I agree with Prides heavy weight champ FEDOR, he would demolish any heavy weight fighter in the ufc. Pride has better fighters, don't belive me just watch the next Ufc. Prides best will be fighting, Randleman and the awesome Mirko Cro cop

I was pulling for Tito. Chuck was just too much for him. Tito always looked to be scared of what Chuck was going to do and I think that took away from Tito's game. No surprise though thats why chuck is the champ. Now Lets see if he can hang with Rampage at this point in his career.

Look, watch pride fc. It is several times better than the ufc. Go to youtube and type in "fedor vs." to see some pride fights with fedor emelianenko. This man would destroy ANY b level UFC fighter. Trust me on this one.
About the fight yesterday, any hardcore fan knew the outcome. Tito was only a paper champion, never the best in the UFC.

i was actually disappointed. i didn't think the John Yamazaki did a good job in stopping the fight. sure, chuck was pounding away in the 3rd but he was really hitting mostly tito's arms. Yamazaki should have let tito try to get out and let the fight continue. it was obvious tito wasn't hurt.
either way, Liddell would have still given ortiz an @ss whooping in the 4th round.
but i seriously think they should only let Big John McCarthey ref the main events.

UFC is addicting; I've been watching since dammed near the beginning (ump-teen years ago!!!). Last nights' fight, though, sucked. Yamasaki stopped it way too early... that cut above Tito's eye was NOTHING!! Back in the days of Royce Gracie & Tank Abbott - you had to be LITERALLY knocked out, or tap out for the fight to end... now THOSE were some excellent scraps! But hey, times are changing I guess. Welcome to the club sweetie - UFC fans are pretty hard core. :) Spike TV airs (UFC Unleashed is the name of the show) if you want to check out some older fights...
